Napoleon Hill found, through a lifetime of research on the subject of success, that there definitely was a common denominator in the lives of the successful people he studied. They all had a clearly defined goal. The goal was not something they wished for or approached timidly. They staked their very existence on the accomplishment of their goal. Do you have a goal? Do you have an objective that you are prepared to stake your very existence on? Hill went on to explain that when you mentally lock into a goal in this manner, you will never again submit to failure. He did not say you would never again fail. The key word in his instruction is, in my opinion, submit. In other words, failures will come; you will automatically realize you have merely found another way, which does not lead you to your chosen destination. This beautiful truth will permit us to understand how Thomas Edison kept pursuing his goal despite three thousand failures. Check your goal. Make certain it is properly set and, as Churchill said, "Never, never, never give up". Remember ... Success is the progressive realization of a goal. It is not reaching the goal but pursuing the goal. When your goal is set, and you are working toward it, you are a success. Act like a successful person. Think like a successful person. Walk like a successful person, and most certainly, talk like a successful person. Failing is part of succeeding - an important part. Don't submit to failure. Keep going. You must find a way! Poor Start - Good Finish
Having trouble viewing this email? Click here Hi Taha, There are literally thousands of men and women who are living dull, meaningless lives because they were not good students in school. They got poor grades, their report cards indicated they were miserable failures. Unfortunately, they permitted those poor grades to register as a part of their self-image and they still see themselves as failures years later. These people never attempt to get a good job or an interesting position in any dynamic organization. They never attempt to start their own company, then build it into something of real value because of this failure image they hold. If you can relate to what I am saying listen up, because I recently read a story of a man who was a poor student. You're probably familiar with his name. In fact, his name might be welded to the hood of your automobile. He got poor grades in school but he never let it upset him because he said his universe revolved elsewhere - around engines, motors and bicycles. He was not only a poor student, he was a frail boy who did not do well in sports and suffered miserably from humiliation. The inferiority complex he developed was reversed and turned into a fierce desire to succeed - Which he did. Here are five personal principles for success this man uses. 1) Always be ambitious and youthful 2) Respect sound theories, find new ideas and devote time to improving production 3) Take pleasure in your work and try to make working conditions as pleasant as possible 4) Constantly look for a smooth, harmonious working rhythm 5) Always keep in mind the value of research and hard work. Most of the successful people I know got off to a poor start. If you did as well don't let it stop you. By the way, everytime a Honda passes you let it remind you of this story. That was his name. Having trouble viewing this email? Click here Hi Taha, A number of years ago I conducted a series of personal development seminars for a large insurance company in the United States. A couple of months after the seminars were completed I was invited by John Lasater to speak at a special function for his office in downtown Chicago. John's office had been part of the group, which attended the seminars, and they were enjoying tremendous success with their sales. I asked John what he considered to be the greatest benefit of the seminars. I was almost certain that he would say the additional sales, but he didn't. John replied that the seminars had eliminated excuses. I never forgot that. Think of how much happier you would be, not to mention how much more productive you would be, if you eliminated excuses. I once read the worst thing that can happen to you is to have an excuse. And, if there were anything worse, it would be to have a good excuse. When you use an excuse for not accomplishing something or not completing a project, you are actually giving power to someone or something outside of yourself. Since there is some circumstances you cannot change and you most certainly cannot change other people, you are stuck. There is a power within you, which is far superior to any condition or circumstance outside of you. Here is a great suggestion for you to try. Try it today. Regardless of what happens today, absolutely refuse to use an excuse to get off the hook. That may be difficult, it might even sound silly but try it anyway. When excuses are eliminated, productivity goes up and people are happier. Remember ... the very worst thing that can happen to you is to have a good excuse.
